Oxygen Media and the casting director of Glee are searching the nation for talented performers to compete for a new role on Season 3 of Glee.  If you've ever dreamed of performing alongside characters like Rachel and Finn, here's your chance.

They are seeking performers who are 18+ (who can convincingly portray the role of a teenager), who also possess strong vocal, acting and dancing abilities.  These candidates will compete in a reality show for a multiple episode guest-starring role on next season on the hit Fox series, Glee.

This Glee Project will air on the Oxygen Network in June of 2011.  The casting directors say that musical theater experience is a plus, but not necessary.  If you do get to participate in the reality series, you'll receive professional training so they don't want to discourage someone who may have raw talent.

Open calls will be held in Chicago on Saturday, December 18th and Sunday, December 19th.  Those will be followed by calls in Dallas on Saturday, January 8th (2011) and Sunday, January 9th (2011).
